You May be Able to Apply for DACA

The ongoing court battle over whether to terminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) has reached another important moment. A federal judge on Friday ordered the full restart of the DACA program set for later in the month. The U.S Justice Department has until August 23rd to file an appeal.

More than 700,000 undocumented immigrants are enrolled in the DACA program, according to the latest statistics.

If Friday’s ruling goes into effect later this month, the administration will be required to accept new applications from people who meet DACA’s eligibility requirements.
