Welcome to the E-Z Immigration blog! We hope you will come back time and time again to get informative and valuable information about the latest topics and trends in U.S. immigration law and public policy.
Our first entry is about Deferred Action for Parental Accountability (DAPA) an exciting new executive action taken by President Barack Obama that will help millions of undocumented people currently living in the US.
On November 20, 2014, President Obama announced official actions that will improve the US immigration system.
He announced a deferred action program for the undocumented parents of US citizens and lawful permanent residents. Deferred action is a form of prosecutorial discretion – which basically describes how the US immigration service will have the authority to provide temporary relief from deportation on a case-by-case basis.
